Pharmacist

A Pharmacy Officer is a qualified pharmacist who can be found working in both clinical and non-clinical environments all over the world.

A Pharmacy Officer will work in a variety of roles which include clinical pharmacy in hospitals, medical logistics within regiments and management of primary healthcare pharmaceutical services.

On operations, pharmacists will usually work in field hospitals or in the medical logistic organisations responsible for ensuring medicines are supplied from the UK to meet the needs of the soldiers.

It is important that a Pharmacy Officer thrives on challenge and is flexible. They are often the only pharmacist available to provide advice and support and will need to be able to deliver this knowledgeably and confidently.

They must be able to use their initiative and work both independently and as part of a team.
