On the 2nd of July the 2 RTR Regimental Day was held in glorious sunshine at Aliwal Barracks. Around two and a half thousand guests attended the event and enjoyed a range of activities from a children drill competition to a display by search dogs.
The crowd cheered on 300 soldiers who received their Op HERRICK medals from HRH the Duke of Gloucester. HRH congratulated 2 RTR on its achievements and perseverance.
