Paul Birmingham
When I arrived at the regiment I was in A sqn at Warminster were I was on tanks for 15 months taking part in numerous exercises, some of these have enabled me to travel to the likes of Europe and Canada.

Lance Corporal Navuku
I started training in Bovington during 2004 and got the best student in my signals class. Training to be a tankie took me about four to five months and qualified to be a driver, signaller, heavy vehicle marshall, whilst continuing to improve my military skills.

Having been with the regiment for only 4 days I volunteered for the Nordic Ski Camp which was to take place in Sweden for 6 weeks, and depending on my progress potentially become part of the 1 RTR Nordic Ski Team.
