On 1 April 2000, 252 Provost Company (V), based principally in Stockton-On-Tees (with a satellite detachment in Newcastle) has become an integral part of the 5th Regt RMP since the Regiment's inception.

In the past the unit has seen its members deploy in support of Army operations in the Falklands, the Gulf and the Balkans. It has taken part in exercises in Germany, Poland, the USA, Canada and it has provided manpower for regular RMP units in UK, Germany and Cyprus.

Training:

The Company conducts military and Special to Arm Military Police training in preparation to deploy elements of its establishment on operations world-wide in order to reinforce essential RMP Sp to UK Land forces.

Equipped with the latest in military equipment and communication systems the Company provides the ideal opportunity for the adventurous to participate in outdoor activities and hone leadership and management skills in a challenging and complex environment.

In addition to deploying on Military training exercises domestically and abroad, the Company personnel have the opportunity to travel on Company and Regimental adventure training in Germany and further afield.

Newcastle: Wednesday 19:30 - 21:30 hrs weekly.
