Captain Thomas Army Legal Services leading parade

ALS is part of the Adjutant General's Corps within the British Army. We only recruit solicitors, barristers and advocates qualified in England and Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland. The schedule for the next recruiting round is as follows:

Deadline for applications 2 March 2012
Interviews will be held from 26-30 March 2012
Army Officer Selection Board 13-15 June 2012

Unfortunately, due to the numbers and high quality of applicants, we are not able to offer interviews to all who apply. Following interviews, up to 9 individuals will be invited to attend the Army Officer Selection Board. Successful candidates, subject to suitable medical, security and referee clearances will be offered a 4 year Short Service Commission (with an 18 month initial probationary period) with the Army Legal Services to commence mid September 2012.
