Adventurous Training

Adventurous Training (AT) is designed to expose people to fear and risk management and build up individual and teamwork skills. It does this by placing you in situations that push you to your limits and beyond.

During your time with the UOTC, you will have plenty of opportunities to get involved in AT expeditions and travel around the world. You will often gain qualifications that are military and civilian recognised.

In your second or third year you can also plan your own unique AT expedition.

Each UOTC runs a different range of AT expeditions. As a member of the Army Reserve, you will also be eligible to the same courses as Regular and Reserve personnel.

OCdts get paid whilst on duty which includes when they go on AT expeditions with the UOTC.
