City of Edinburgh UOTC Recruiting

The City of Edinburgh UOTC welcomes new Officer Cadets that are eligible to join once a year during Freshers' Week.

The process is simple. Look out for our recruiting stand at the following Freshers' Fairs, where you can meet current members and ask initial questions.

Open Nights - join us for a finger buffet and a drink at one of our open evenings. They are held at Duke of Edinburgh House (DoEH) in Colinton.

This is a chance for all those who are interested in joining to meet each other and some of the current Officer Cadets and bombard them with questions. 

Transport is provided; information on timings and pick-up points will be given out at the fairs and will be posted on this site nearer the time.    

Selection Weekends - During this time, you will undergo a medical and complete a 1.5 mile run to ensure you are physically fit enough to join.  You will also fill out the necessary documentation as well as take part in team building events and discussion groups.  

Joining CEUOTC involves some work and commitment on your part, but we will guide you through the process.
