Sport

As you can imagine sport is very important at all UOTCs. Sport is used to develop leadership and teamwork, as well as maintain physical fitness third (and second) year students play an active role in organising and leading the teams.

UOTCs  have several different sports teams (male, female and mixed) which include football, rugby union, hockey and running.

But if you have an interest in a sport not already played, then swhy not set up your own team! There are regular training sessions and UOTC teams play a mixture of university faculty teams and other local military teams.

The Queens Cup

The culmination of the year's sport occurs at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst where UOTCs compete for the Queens Cup.

Here, all 19 UOTCs are invited to enter teams in several different sports competitions including hockey, rugby, football, and cross country.

Not only is it a great chance to meet (and beat), other UOTCs, but it's also good fun.
