11th (Royal School of Signals) Signal Regiment

11th Signal Regiment Blandford - Montage 11th Signal Regiment is based in Blandford Camp near Blandford Forum in Dorset, and is where all Royal Signals Phase 2, Upgrade and Re-Trade soldiers are posted for their Trade Training.

About the Regiment

11th Signal Regiment is the training unit for all Royal Signals Phase 2 and 3 Soldiers who need to undergo their trade training.

  • Phase 2 Soldiers undergoing trade training at the Regiment will also be taught to drive, if they can't already.
  • 11th Signal Regiment, is one of the finest sporting regiments in the Royal Signals with excellent sporting facilities at Blandford, including an all weather track in the Sports Stadium and fully equipped gym.

Mission

"To train and develop individuals in trade and military skills, leadership and ethos in order that they are effective Royal Signals soldiers and commanders for hybrid operations".

Location

11th Signal Regiment is based in the south of England, in Dorset, at Blandford Garrison, near the town of Blandford Forum. The nearest mainline train station is Salisbury, which is 22 miles North East of Blandford Camp.
