Royal Engineer Wing - Armoured Fighting Vehicle Driving and Maintenance School
The Royal Engineer Armoured Fighting Vehicle Driving and Maintenance School is located within the Armour Centre at Bovington Camp in Dorset.
The Armour Centre is the British Army's Centre of Excellence for training in the core skills of armoured warfare using Armoured Fighting Vehicles (AFVs). These skills include AFV driving and maintenance, together with the operation of associated weapon systems and communication equipment.
Royal Engineers who have chosen Armoured as their trade, are taught the use, operation and maintenance of the Royal Engineer Armoured Vehicles, these include the new Royal Engineer vehicles TROJAN, TITAN and TERRIER.
